How does the video "A smelly issue" by Ben Deitch in help me answer the question about employees and jobs in the quiz?

I don't understand how this lesson will help me solve the question for the "SQL Reporting by Example" (DAY 2 Quiz): "Write a query to figure out how many employees are in each job role." given the limited information the code included gives me.

What am I missing?
