in this video we talked about Example.java and PezDispenser.java. My question is, how does the computer know that those two files go together? I didn't catch in the video an explanation for how java knows PezDispenser.java is a class for Example.java?

The short answer... if you look at the File Tree, everything for a project will be in one Main Project Folder. All folders, files, etc inside the main folder is one package (project) and can potentially access each other.
