How do you run Spring + Hibernate on a non-local machine?

I'm starting to get the feel for Spring and Hibernate and I want to try building an app that's useful outside of my LAN. Then I realized all the learning was done in a local environment where I just right click on bootRun from IntelliJ's gradle tool. How do you run these application on a remote web hosted servers?

Can you recommend a provider? (Canada/US)
