626 PointsHow do you replace <YOUR NAME> in the console.printf expression with the firstName variable using the string format?
console.printf("%s, can you code in Java", firstName);

Basically the printf method scans for any percentage sign with a converter for example.
- %s = String
- %d = Integer (Decimal Integer)
- %f = float
- etc...
When you define the %s the Java Interpreter scans for you to define a String in the second parameter of the printf method, So let's say we are welcoming a new student to Treehouse, This is what you would do.
String student = "John";
System.out.printf("Welcome, %s to Treehouse!", student);
This will then print out.
Welcome, John to Treehouse!
