How do you make an argument a string?

Cannot pass this task. How do i make the argument a string?

strlen.py 
def just_right(str):
    if len(str) in just_right < 5:
        print("Your string is too short")
    else:
        print("Your string is too long")

    if len(str1) < 5:
        return "Your string is too short"
    elif len(str1) > 5:
        return "Your string is too long"
    else:
        return True

You should return values and not print them. Nr. 1 mistake at treehouse
