13,166 PointsHow do we deal with :hover on mobile devices?
I'm interested to know this since it was brought up in this video, but what action reproduces the :hover state on a mobile device?

10,480 PointsThe :hover state is not really supported on mobile devices, so I would not rely on it when designing your site. It should be used as an extra design aspect and not necessarily for functionality. Some devices show the :hover state for a split second after clicking it, but it's mostly meant for devices that have a mouse.
