How do we call the printf method in order to print something?

Initially, I declared a variable but I feel there is something missing in the code before actually printing.

Name.java 
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName = "Misha";
console.printf "<%s> can code in Java!, firstName";

Your code is actually pretty close, but there are some issues:

  1. When you call a method in Java you have to place a pair of parenthesis () after the method name, and then place any data you want to pass to the method (technically called arguments) inside of those parenthesis.
  2. In a formatted string the placeholder for a string value is simply %s not <%s>.
  3. The ", firstName" part of your code should not be inside of the string. You need to move the quote mark that marks the end of your string to be right before the comma.

Like this:

String firstName = "Misha";
console.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName);
