Livia Galeazzi
Java Web Development Techdegree Graduate 21,083 PointsYou need to declare a variable called "firstName". Take a step back in the videos you just watched:
- What kind of variable is appropriate to store a name? (you learned about int, String, double, and a few others)
- How do you declare a variable in java?
- How do you use "console.readLine()" to store user input into a variable? You need to take the time to figure out those three steps, because you really have to understand this in order to keep up with the rest of the course. All the information you need is in the course videos.
