Im pretty sure is my notation of a string in the argument. If so whats the proper way of notating a string literal in this code?
-Thanks in advance

if len("") < 5:
return "Your string is too short"
elif len("") > 5:

31,603 PointsHey there,
you can call the parameter however you want (as long as it's a valid variable name) because you're not really declaring the parameter as a String. In this case I called the parameter string
. Also note that you have to return True
in the else block instead of Turn
.
def just_right(string):
if len(string) < 5:
return "Your string is too short"
elif len(string) > 5:
return "Your string is too long"
else:
return True
I hope that helps! :)
