How do I hide the video controls during playback?

It is hard to see the dev tools while in full screen with the video playback controls in the way and the dev tools are too small when not in full screen mode.

Contact the support at help@teamtreehouse.com. Meanwhile in fullscreen mode open the video options and select it the option to view controlls and click fullscreen on the native playbar.

I could be wrong, but I think they may have changed the video player so that the controls are always displayed.

Yes, I think they have. I am interested in exposing and altering the controls using the elements panel in the developer tools of Chrome, however I am unable to identify the CSS video controls style to change it to something like fade out. I can identify the video player, but not specifically the video player in full screen mode, which seems to be a 'sub-condition' that draws on browser support and may make it impossible. I figure the processes that allow the controls to fade out or remain static can only be altered by changing how the browser plays treehouse videos in full screen mode.

Basically, I think Dev tools may not support alterations to the video player when the video is played in full screen mode. Any thoughts?

You must to open the menu on the screen with a right click (I'm PC user) and select "view controls" and click on fullscreen mode button on this. However, I've contacted the support and this was the resp:

"Thanks for reaching out to us about this. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused you. We're aware of this visual bug and it's something our developers are looking into. We greatly appreciate your patience!"

So, we need to be patient ;)
