Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 834 PointsHow do i get this to show "Its friday but i dont have enough money to go out"?
I keep changing the final else if to say if money is less than or equal too.. but no luck, i keep receiving the same message
var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday'
if ( money >= 100 || today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("Time to go to the theater");
} else if ( money >= 50 || today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money > 10 || today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( money > 9 || today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else {
alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");
}

Also > 9 is not 9 so I added an equals. See below.
var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday';
if (money >= 100 && today === 'Friday') {
alert("ddddd");
} else if ( money >= 50 && today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money >= 10 && today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( money >= 9 && today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else {
alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");
}

I would do it like this, or money <= 9, to not get an error if money < 9.
What David said about the && and || operators are quite important :) Good luck with all!
