491 PointsHow do I get the code to run properly? My code looks identical, but it won't run. Errors keep popping up.
I couldn't get my workspace to load properly, so I had to go back in the videos to make sure everything matched. I looked over the code in the video and my own code numerous times and can't see any difference, however I keep getting errors.
This is the error I'm seeing:
./PezDispenser.java:8: error: missing method body, or declare abstract
public String getCharacterName(); {
^
./PezDispenser.java:9: error: return outside method
return mCharacterName;
^
2 errors
This is my code: Example.java
public class Example {
public static void main(String[] args) {
// Your amazing code goes here...
System.out.println("We are making a new Pez Dispenser.");
PezDispenser dispenser = new PezDispenser("Donatello");
System.out.printf("The dispenser character is %s\n",
dispenser.getCharacterName());
}
}
PezDispenser.java
public class PezDispenser { private String mCharacterName;
public PezDispenser(String characterName){ mCharacterName = characterName; }
public String getCharacterName(); { return mCharacterName;
} }

28,558 PointsThe problem is is that you have a ; (semicolon) after getCharacterName().

491 PointsThanks, I figured that out after much meticulous combing of the code. ;-)
