23,019 PointsHow do I document myself as the creator of a website?
I've created a website for someone else. I'd like to have my name somewhere on there to show that I created it. I don't want to put it in the footer or anywhere on the actual site where a visiter can see it. I just want to put a comment in the coding. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to do this? Is there some standardized way this is done?
Thanks

65,469 PointsThere's actually something called a comment in many languages that does exactly what you are saying. It would effect the website at all, it is just a little note to leave in the code.
You make a HTML comment like this:
<!-- Here's a comment! -->
In other languages making comments is a little different.
Good luck! ~alex
