variable then I recommend you rewatch the video preceding this challenge.
If the thing you are confused about are how challenges work then they are actually pretty simple on Treehouse. The challenge workspace has been setup such that you don't need to worry about writing any of the boiletplate code you normally do when writing Java or compiling the code yourself or anything.
You just have to enter the exact code the challenge asks for and hit the "Check Work" button. In this case they simply want a line of code that creates a String
variable that holds your name. How to do that is shown off in the video I linked above.

4,817 Pointsit's basically a pre-set so you don't need the main method from java. It should help you. You can now simply start by define the variable as a String.
