"block"
is a value for the display
property.
So in your CSS rule that targets the element(s) you wish to affect, you might write:
display: block;
Some elements are block
by default but with this setting you can change the way other elements display. The default for other elements is usually inline
, but as Attila mentioned, there is also a combination inline-block
mode.
I also noticed that in your h1
rule for font-family
you have mismatched quotes. I'm not sure, but they look like kind of quotes used for word processors instead of the kind used for programming.
