13,705 PointsRemove the space between li and :nth-child. And remove the space between :nth-child and (4).
Then it should work without problem.

For instance:
p .example {
/* stands for the class INSIDE the p element */
}
p.example {
/* stands for the P element that HAS the class "example" */
}
With :nth-child and other elements/pseudo elements, it is more strict. As you saw, it just doesn't work with a space ;).
