2,063 PointsHow do I break out of a loop when I get to a certain item in a string?
I have been trying this for ages but I can't seem to find how to do it.
def loopy(items):
for item in items:
print (items)
if item == "STOP":
break

5,969 PointsYou nearly got it. The challenge is asking you to break out the loop when item == 'STOP'. This means it doesn't want you to print the item when it does equal 'STOP'. To fix this simply place your if argument above your 'print(item)' line
