11,393 PointsHey Priyanka, for the first part of the code block , you need to 'try' to convert the parameters into floats, if that fails, you throw a ValueError exception, else, return their sum, something like this:
def add(num1, num2):
try:
num1 = float(num1)
num2 = float(num2)
except ValueError:
return None
else:
return num1 + num2
