How can you find out how many best answers you have?

Just wondering. Also, does anyonw know how many best answers Steven Parker has?

I don't think there is a way to do that. However you can go to your points and if you hover one of your dots of subjects, you can see how many points you got for form answers. I don't know how many Steven has. I know he has answered some of my questions so he has got some.

I guess. Then though, I wouldn't have time to learn HOW to code.

You forgot to tag me, I almost didn't see this question.

The only way I know of to see a "best answer" total is when the system recommends someone in the "Ask to answer" section of a new question. It seems to pick people mostly at random, but the probability seems to be shifted a bit to folks who answer often. I will occasionally see myself listed in that section.

I saw myself listed there last week, when it said I had 3743 Best Answers.

Well done Steven Parker !!!

There is no easy way to find out. The hack is to find an unanswered question on a topic you've answered before or related to coursework you've completed. The refresh the screen repeatedly until your own info shows up as one the six "Ask to Answer" suggested people. This needs to be on a non-mobile device to see the Best Answer statistic.

Edit: the is not recommended as it increases server load unnecessarily and may be frowned upon by TTH Staff

You can only be sure when you see yourself in the "Ask to answer" section (which, as I said, seems to be essentially random). But based on your forum points, you have somewhere between 0 and 10.

You can also enable email notifications for when someone gives you a "best answer" and keep track that way (from here on).

Hey, I remembered you'd asked this when I saw your name pop up on a question just now:

So if you have "best answer" notifications turned on, you can keep track from here.
