7,868 PointsHow can we add a new video to the course and there is not a method in the course.java file that adds new videos
There has to be a method that i call to add a video in the list of videos of the course.
package com.example.model;
import java.util.List;
public class Course {
private String mName;
private List<Video> mVideos;
public Course(String name, List<Video> videos) {
mName = name;
mVideos = videos;
}
public String getName() {
return mName;
}
public List<Video> getVideos() {
return mVideos;
}
}
package com.example.model;
public class Video {
private String mTitle;
public Video(String title) {
mTitle = title;
}
public String getTitle() {
return mTitle;
}
public void setTitle(String title) {
mTitle = title;
}
}
import com.example.model.Course;
import com.example.model.Video;
import java.util.Map;
import java.util.List;
import java.util.ArrayList;
public class QuickFix {
public void addForgottenVideo(Course course) {
Video vd = new Video("The Beginning Bits");
// TODO(1): Create a new video called "The Beginning Bits"
// TODO(2): Add the newly created video to the course videos as the second video.
}
public void fixVideoTitle(Course course, String oldTitle, String newTitle) {
}
public Map<String, Video> videosByTitle(Course course) {
return null;
}
}

It is true that Course class does not have a method to add video in a list. However, Course class have a method to get an object in the form of List of videos right? It is called getVideos(). Therefore, you can use this to invoke the list of video in course that you want to modify. Since you are calling a method that will pass you a List object meaning you can use List's default methods to add your video and position the video by using the add() method.
Therefore this my proposed code :
public void addForgottenVideo(Course course) {
// TODO(1): Create a new video called "The Beginning Bits"
Video video = new Video("The Beginning Bits");
// TODO(2): Add the newly created video to the course videos as the second video.
course.getVideos().add(1, video);
}
I hope this will help you pass the challenge.
