5,439 PointsTo figure out if the number given is even or odd use the % Modulus operator this will divide the number and return the remainder. Even numbers won't have a remainder.
def even_odd(number):
if number % 2 == 0: # Even numbers won't have a remainder....
return True
else:
return False
