41,120 PointsThere are two issues with your code. You need to check the first letter of 'item', not 'items', in your condition. This is because item refers to a single item in the list, but items is the entire list.
And in your else clause, you should simply print out the item, rather than what you are currently trying to print.

for item in items:
if item[0] == "a":
continue
else:
print(item)
