How do the commands differ when managing packages using Homebrew on Mac OSX?

Very similar, and super easy.

For example:

brew install (package)

brew list (see list of packages (called formulae) installed via homebrew>

brew upgrade (package>

brew update <update homebrew itself, should be done fairly regularly; see list of all updated packages (called formulae) in the homebrew system, not just locally)

brew uninstall (package>
