What it sounds like you want to do is very simple to do with a CMS like Drupal or Wordpress. It doesnt really require coding skills unless that is specifically what you want to achieve. I am a Drupal developer and I am on treehouse because I want to understand what is going on with what I do but its only necessary to code in rare occasions. If you want to achieve something specifically I would be happy to help.

Seems that the TreeHouse Team do not have resources to focus on this issue(rather they are focused on new courses and updating the ones they have, and they do good job), though there are some traits that shows that they thought on it. For example in the account details there is an "if you are searching for a job" flag. I belive that if there is a strong wish from the community they will be able to organise it, or we as community could organise it ourself - it should not be difficult to make a job/freelance site basing on the data from the TTH site. It can use TTH API if they would like to provide it, or it can gather the data directly as the information is not very closed. Normally API is not a difficult issue and could be obtained by request(Especially if you explains to the resourse owners why they would want to provide it). Now the only issue is to form a team of voluntiers who would like to make such a site. It can be even bring profit.
