Hi, why do we not use a closing tag for "link" as in <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css"> </link>?

I believe I've followed all the steps including having unordered lists in the nav element however, the bullet points still remain on the page. Any suggestions?

hi justin, try this instead

<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css"/>

I believe your just missing the forward slash at the end. even though not adding it shouldn't give you an error, just to be on the safe side. I think you should be able to load the stylesheet your code seems correct to me, double check the spelling of stylesheets name. if all else fail, take the normalize.css style sheet and keep it outside the css folder and load it up in in your index file as

<link rel="stylesheet" href="normalize.css" />

The Link tag is self closing, you you'll later on find out there are other self closing tags in html such as

<img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="" height="90" width="90">
