Hi, please I was trying to implement PHP code for a carousel theme. Currently I have no clue about PHP

I have been using your teaching as a guide to build my own theme, however got stuck at the jumbotron php coding section as I am using a carousel.

If you're getting stuck with the PHP and since this is an advanced course I'd highly advise you go through the PHP basics course at the very least (https://teamtreehouse.com/library/php-basics) and possibly the entire PHP development track.

This is correct. These WP Dev courses require you to know PHP first.
