hi, in the first question of the video you need to apply a float but after he didnt clear it why?

Apply a float to <li> tags inside <nav>. Make sure the floats follow the HTML source order.

i dont understand why a clear was nor done after

nav when floated takes on characteristics of a block element thereby has its own line so it does not need to be cleared.

The following 'h2' element also has its own line as a block element so does not interfere/overlap with with #nav.
