1,042 PointsHi, I installed a WooCommerce plugin within a Storefront theme, but the settings menu is different from the video. Why ?
In my case the WooCommerce settings menu doesn't show some tabs (for example tax) like in the video and it doesn't depend on updates to do on the plugin. For example the part related on how to calculate taxes is totally missing. Please let me know. Thank you

23,118 PointsThat's because the Plugin has been updated since the release of the video. You should be able to follow along using the videos. I'd also check out the docs for the plugin as well, as they are updated to reflect current changes of the plugin.

1,042 PointsI thought the same thing, but is it possible that a plugin version update shows less functionality than the previous one ? Previously I miss one thing; I installed Wordpress in local, so may be this the problem ? Thanks

23,118 PointsIt is possible for a plugin to remove features it once had. This process is called deprecating. Having WordPress installed locally should not effect how a plugin should work. because when you are running a local server, your computer contacts itself since it is running a local server and returns the data back to the browser. Your local server can "talk" with the rest of the internet, so you can still download plugins on your local site.
