hi, i don't find the problem here

public class FlightActivity extends Activity {

  public int mFuelLevel = 0;

  @Override
  protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.activity_flight);

    // Add your code below!
   Intent intent = getIntent();
   String mFuel = intent.getStringExtra("FUEL_LEVEL");

  }
}

It shows an error

./FlightActivity.java:14: error: cannot find symbol String mFuel = intent.getStringExtra("FUEL_LEVEL"); ^ symbol: method getStringExtra(String) location: variable intent of type Intent 1 error

Hi Jairo

The question is asking you assign the integer value passed into the activity to the variable mFuelLevel, your code would be correct if we were trying to get a string value we had attached to an Intent. The getIntExtra() method is what we need in this case however. A working example is shown below

import android.os.Bundle;

public class FlightActivity extends Activity {

  public int mFuelLevel = 0;

  @Override
  protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.activity_flight);

    // Add your code below!
    Intent intent = getIntent();
    mFuelLevel = intent.getIntExtra("FUEL_LEVEL",-1);

  }
}

Hope this helps

Daniel
