2,404 PointsHey! Javascript or Python?
I'm very confused about the future of these two languages

259 PointsI'm not. By my understanding they are just having a little bit of a spat. Every relationship has their ups and down, and these two crazy kids are no different.

9,260 PointsJS will always be around as it's used for front end, there is no other language out there that you can manipulate the front end of a web application. Python on the other hand will be around still, it was said that PHP was gonna be dead, but it isn't. It predominantly to your location as to what the highest used language is. But surely JS will be one of them as it's a heavily reliable front end technology :) hope this helps

2,544 PointsLike someone else said, it really depends on what you’re wantinf to do with them. I’m going python because it’s used in the areas I’m interested in, but JavaScript is also used a lot in other areas. Head to the google and see which one works better for what you’re into. I’m pretty sure they’ll both be around a long while.
