For the first part of the challenge, you need to initialize the input, like this:

String reponse = console.readLine("Do you understand while loops");

Then, you have to create the do-while loop. Don't forget to declare your string and a boolean outside the loop. The input goes inside the loop:

String response;
boolean isNo;
do {
  response = console.readLine("Do you understand while loops?");
  isNo = (response.equalsIgnoreCase("no"));
  if(isNo){
    console.printf("Try again.");
  }
} while(isNo);

This is because the input (readLine) must be created while the answer is no (while(isNo)). The final solution is as follows:

String response;
boolean isNo;
do {
  response = console.readLine("Do you understand while loops?");
  isNo = (response.equalsIgnoreCase("no"));
  if(isNo){
    console.printf("Try again.");
  }
} while(isNo);
console.printf("Because you said %s, you passed the test!", response);
