Help with the Xcode editor

Hi Community,

I am facing some really annoying issues with the Xcode editor itself.

At times, I can suddenly no longer see the results of the code in the assistant on the right hand side of the screen, just as the debug area has stopped working.

I have tried activating the debug area under View as well as playing around with different editor and navigator settings, but nothing I do brings back these two tools, which makes it very difficult to follow this course.

Any help in this respect would be much appreciated!

I would try re-installing xcode or if you have an ipad, run a playground from there. I personally am running a hackintosh build that works great with no issues.
