I ran this, and it returns 5. That's correct. In the string 'opqrst', the 'o' is at index 0, 'p' is index 1, 'q' is index 2, 'r' is index 3, 's' is index 4, and 't' is index 5.

Ah, the communication problem message. I've been getting that, especially around midday when internet traffic is heavy. I just click the X in the top right to close the message window, then click the "Check Work" button again. Sometimes it takes a few tries, but it eventually gets through.
