I thought I was using the code right but I guess it doesn't recognize any of it and just asks me if I forgot to create the getTileCount method.
public class ScrabblePlayer {
private String mHand;
public ScrabblePlayer() {
mHand = "";
}
public String getHand() {
return mHand;
}
public void addTile(char tile) {
// Adds the tile to the hand of the player
mHand += tile;
}
public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
return mHand.indexOf(tile) > -1;
}
public int getTileCount() {
int count = 0;
for(char tiles: mHand.toCharArray()) {
count++;
}
return count;
}
}

24,512 PointsHi Joel,
You're extremely close, it looks like that all you're missing is an if-statement to check if the character is equal to the tile.
public int getTileCount(char tile){
int count = 0;
for (char character: mHand.toCharArray()){
if ( character == tile ){
count ++;
}
}
return count;
}
If you have any other questions feel free to ask! Hope this helps!
