this didn't work, why?

if time in store_hours: store_open=True else: store_open=False

Hey David,

you have to indent it correctly.

This passes the challenge:

store_open = None
store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]
if time in store_hours:
  store_open=True
else:  # Notice how this is on the same level as the if statement now.
  store_open=False
