public class Programmers {
public void printMenu() {
String[] programmers = {

};
System.out.println("Choose a programmer:");
// TODO: Print out a menu by looping through the programmers array.
/*
The menu should be in the form of (each on a line of its own, starting with 1):
1. Yukihiro Matsumoto

String programmers = programmers[i];

29,184 PointsHi,
You had 3 tiny mistakes in your code:
- It needed an extra curly bracket at the end to close the class.
- You can't use the name "programmers" for your string since "programmers" is the name of the array.
String programmer = programmers[i];
- You forgot to close the quotes, also you should use comma instead of semicolon to separate the quotes from the variables in your printf
System.out.printf("Hey %s, These are Famous Programmers! %n", programmer);
And here you have the complete code:
public class Programmers {
public void printMenu() {
String[] programmers = {
"Yukihiro Matsumoto",
"David Nolen",
"Grace Hopper",
"Linus Torvalds",
"You"
};
System.out.println("Choose a programmer:");
// TODO: Print out a menu by looping through the programmers array.
/*
The menu should be in the form of (each on a line of its own, starting with 1):
1. Yukihiro Matsumoto
2. David Nolen
...
*/
for (int i = 0; i < programmers.length; i++) {
String programmer = programmers[i];
System.out.printf("Hey %s, These are Famous Programmers! %n", programmer);
}
}
}
