Help please

So I did what one person already told me to do to fix this issue and I'm still having trouble. FYI... I can't attach my code because every time I attempt to click on "Get help" from the actual challenge, it won't let me, so I have to start over and all my work is lost.

In other news, here's my problem:

public class Example { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("Starting forum example...");

    if (args.length < 2)
    {
       System.out.println("first and last name are required. eg:  java Example Craig Dennis");
    }

    Forum forum = new Forum("Java");
    User author = new User("Craig", "Dennis");
    ForumPost post = new ForumPost(author, "Example", "is awesome");
    forum.addPost(post);
}

}

I run this main method through eclipse (of course once I've already followed all instructions and built all classes as directed) and this is what the compiler tells me...

Comipler - "Starting forum example... first and last name are required. eg: java Example Craig Dennis New post from Craig Dennis about Example."

Apparently I seem to be missing an argument somewhere. Where I don't know. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

ForumPost.java
public class ForumPost {
  private User mAuthor;
  private String mTitle;
  private String mDescription;

  public User getAuthor() {
    return mAuthor;
  }

  public String getTitle() {
    return mTitle;
  }

  // TODO: We need to expose the description
}
User.java
public class User {

  public User(String firstName, String lastName) {
    // TODO: Set the private fields here
  }
}
Forum.java
public class Forum {
  private String mTopic;

  public String getTopic() {
      return mTopic;
  }

  public void addPost(ForumPost post) {
      /* When all is ready uncomment this...
      System.out.printf("New post from %s %s about %s.\n",
                         post.getAuthor().getFirstName(),
                         post.getAuthor().getLastName(),
                         post.getTitle());
      */
  }
}
Example.java
public class Example {

  public static void main(String[] args) {
    System.out.println("Starting forum example...");
    if (args.length < 2) {
       System.out.println("first and last name are required. eg:  java Example Craig Dennis");
    }
    // Forum forum = new Forum("Java");
    // Take the first two elements passed args
    // User author = new User();
    // Add the author, title and description
    // ForumPost post = new ForumPost();
    // forum.addPost(post);
  }
}

I don't see the problem... In your code you have:

 if (args.length < 2)
    {
       System.out.println("first and last name are required. eg:  java Example Craig Dennis");
    }

So your code shows this message because you are not executing your program with the right number of arguments (at least two). I suppose you want to stop your program executing if that happens, right? So you need to put a "return;" right after the message.

Right now your code checks the number of argument, shows the message and continues executing your code.

As for passing the right amount of arguments, you should try executing the program with the following command: "java Example Craig Denis"

This way, you'll have two arguments and that message won't show.

Ok I will give that a try. Thanks!
