But you can always download the full project as zipped file from workspace. and work at your ease with Notepad++.
Notepad++ is a wonderful offline tool. Make sure you deploy your files the same way as in the workspace. ie /img /css index.html

1) download workspace to your desktop.
2) unzip it.
3) drag index.html from your desktop and drop it to your workspace.
you will see index.html coming back in your root directory.
4) go to img directory.
5) delete the index.html
6) Et voila.

I'm sorry you're having difficulties. Instead of using notepad++ I would recommend using Workspaces, which comes with Treehouse and is what Nick is using in the video. Notepad++ is VERY different from Workspaces and other industry preferred text editors, which is why you're not seeing a similar set up to what workspaces has. If there is a particular reason why you have to use notepad++ and not workspaces let us know!
If you still must use notepad++ I can look up what specific steps you would need to take to get your images added and how to create new folders.
