Hello YZ L

So the first task needs you to add a constructor on the Forum Class

  • Java Constructors begin with the keyword public
  • Java Constructors have no return type
  • Java Constructors assumes the name of the class
  • Java Constructors can be empty or accept arguments

The name of the class is Forum and accepts String Topic . You also need to set the Forum class member variable to the String Topic passed to the constructor. To do this you need this keyword to point to the member variable declared at the top of the class

See my code below with comments

// TODO: add a constructor that accepts a topic and sets the
// private field topic
public Forum (String topic) {

//use this keyword to differentiate between String topic at the top
//and String topic inside the constructor
this.topic = topic
}

Thanks!!!!
