Help On Web Editors

Hi! For one of my classes, we have to work with Dreamweaver and I am really lost on how to get started. Are there any good tutorials out there that anyone knows of that can help one start Dreamweaver, learn how to create a site on it, saving your work, etc? Any suggestions is appreciated! Thanks, Diana

Treehouse seems to mostly use their built in workspaces to more teach the fundamentals of how to build a website using code as opposed to how to use specific web development tools or IDEs. There are a few but none, to my knowledge, cover Dreamweaver (if I'm wrong, please correct me). However, there are a great many resources for learning! You can get courses really cheap from Udemy for example (which is always having sales for $20-$25).

This is a great one for making a website using Dreamweaver: https://www.udemy.com/course/illustrator-designs-to-dreamweaver-websites-using-templates/

This one is better and more robust for understanding Dreamweaver as a whole: https://www.udemy.com/course/dreamweaver-training-infinite-skills/

Though you did mention using this for a class, so it makes sense you may not want to do an entire other course. YouTube is honestly a great source of information, as simple of an answer as that is! Even just a 15 minute video to get you comfortable with Dreamweaver may be enough, then following Treehouse courses to understand the coding side!

Whatever you choose is up to you! There is no one way to approach learning. I hope this helps!
