you don't have to create a new list, just use your existing one and add the links around them like so:
<ul>
<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
<li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
<li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
</ul>
And you can remove the second unordered list, I hope that helps. Good luck! :)

5,199 PointsI answered this on your last post on the same exercise. They want the links in the same "li" element as above. Combine the two ul list into one list.
