help me in using format in lists

i am not getting it

banana.py 
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes=available.split(";")
menu="Our available flavours are: {}".format(sundaes)

Hi Sharan,

Please see the below code I used to pass this challenge:

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"

sundaes = available.split(";")

menu = "Our available flavors are: {}".format(", ".join(sundaes))

As shown above, I have completed the final task of the challenge in one line.

Inside the parenthesis of the .format() method we have the sundaes variable joined together with a comma and space separating each sundae.

This result after the join will be stored inside the menu variable which is a string that will say "Our available flavors are: banana split, hot fudge, cherry, ..." (placeholders {} replaced by joined sundaes).
