I am a Little confused with instances in object-oriented programming in python.

231,268 PointsIt helped me at first to think of a class as a "blueprint". It is the description and specifications about how a certain thing should be, but it's not one in itself.
An "instance" is what you get when you make one of the things the blueprint describes. You can have several instances, and they will all be similar because they were made from the same blueprint (class).
