Your method should look like this:

func button() -> UIBarButtonItem {
    switch self {

    case .done(title: let title): return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .done, target: nil, action: nil)
    case .edit(title: let title): return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil)

    }

}

And don't forget to call it on the done constant:

let button = done.button()
