Hey guys, I've done the first part of the question I believe but I dont know what to do next, can anyone explain it to me?
struct RGBColor {
let red: Double
let green: Double
let blue: Double
let alpha: Double
let description: String
// Add your code below
init(red: Double, green: Double, blue: Double, alpa: Double) -> Double {
self.red = 86.0
self.green = 191.0
self.blue = 131.0
self.alpha = 1.0
}
}

8,386 PointsHi Justus,
There are a few issues with your code.
1) No need to include the "-> Double" in the init signature
2) Pass the parameter values to the instance properties (the instance properties are self.red, etc., the init params are the values in the parens that the user will pass as arguments when creating the object). Right now you are hard coding the values.
3) Don't forget to set value for the description string with string interpolation
(lastly, alpha is misspelled in the init params -- little things like that might also cause problems)
Here is the corrected code:
struct RGBColor {
let red: Double
let green: Double
let blue: Double
let alpha: Double
let description: String
// Add your code below
init(red: Double, green: Double, blue: Double, alpha: Double) {
self.red = red
self.green = green
self.blue = blue
self.alpha = alpha
self.description = "red: \(red), green: \(green), blue: \(blue), alpha: \(alpha)"
}
}
Now if you need to create object and then see the description string you can do this:
let myRGBColor = RGBColor(red: 86.0, green: 191.0, blue: 131.0, alpha: 1.0)
print(myRGBColor.description)
Hope that helps.
