4,082 PointsHi Arjun! The goal in the challenge is to set the int member variable: mFuelLevel.
Your problem seems to lie in this line of code:
String name = intent.getStringExtra("-1");
Here you are attempting to set a string variable with a string value, when you really should be setting the int (mFuelLevel) by retrieving the int from the intent with intent.getIntExtra().
Try this:
import android.os.Bundle;
public class FlightActivity extends Activity {
public int mFuelLevel = 0;
@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_flight);
// Add your code below!
Intent intent = getIntent();
mFuelLevel = intent.getIntExtra("FUEL_LEVEL", -1);
}
}
Let me know if that helped!
