Help!

Hellor can anyone help me please? When I go to update ruby to the latest version using '''rbenv install 2.1.2''' my mac book air 2013 crashes.

What do you mean by crashes? does it shut down? does it give you any errors? that version or ruby is pretty new. try installing an older version like 2.1.1

rbenv install 2.1.1
