Java Java Objects (Retired) Creating the MVP For Each Loop

Hello there, I'm doing the challenge and trying to wrap my head around for-each loops.

The code: }

public void addTile(char tile) { // Adds the tile to the hand of the player mHand += tile; }

public boolean hasTile(char tile) { return mHand.indexOf(tile) > -1; }

public int getTileCount() { int varCount; for(char tile: mHand.toCharArray() >= 0) { varCount++; } } }

ScrabblePlayer.java
public class ScrabblePlayer {
  private String mHand;

  public ScrabblePlayer() {
    mHand = "";
  }

  public String getHand() {
   return mHand;
  }

  public void addTile(char tile) {
    // Adds the tile to the hand of the player
    mHand += tile;
  }

  public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
   return mHand.indexOf(tile) > -1;
  }

  public int getTileCount() {
   int varCount;
    for(char tile: mHand.toCharArray() >= 0) {
      varCount++;
    }
  }
}

Are you wondering over anything specific, or do you just want a general description of what they do?

Thanks for the reply: its okay now I got it. What confused me was that they wanted me to count the number of tiles the person had, not the number of tiles of each letter they had. Thanks

Craig Dennis or kinmanli I tried something similar to this:

public int getTileCount() {
   int varCount;
    for(char tile: mHand.toCharArray()) {
      varCount++;
    }
  }

and I can't seem to get it.: tried something like this

public int getTileCount() {
   int varCount;
    for(char tile: mHand.toCharArray()) {
      if (tile.hasTile()){
      varCount++;
    }

also not...

what am I missing
