General Discussion

Hello, guys i would need some advice from you

I have thought about buying a new latop, now i was wondered if the new macbook pro is worth to buy it.. So, i know you have to know what you want to program, in order to get the right Operating system. So i thought about, that in the future, i want to make ios application, there i need xcode, that means i need mac, then i want to make android applications too, so i need java. I would programm python web application, too. So i want a OS, where i can programm like everything. Macbook is based on linux, so that's good, because we can integrate a lot of programming language in the terminal. So that's why windows would be a bad idea. So which kind of laptop would u choose.. Windows or macbook? I really need a operatings system where i can program these things, like everything. So please give a good answer. I saw actually the teacher kenneth, he was programming python and had a macbook too. Thanks!

If you absolutely have to code iOS, you need a Mac. You can use Windows machines for the rest and use virtual machines to emulate other OSs.

Personally, I have an old Macbook Pro for XCode, a Windows laptop that I'm on now, and a triple booted desktop that boots between two Linux distros and Windows 10.
