6,282 PointsHello all, I want to start building my first website and I have a few ideas but I somehow cant choose which one I want.
I've always had an interest in HTML forms however I know that's only part of the equation. Any ideas on what to make my first website on?

1,463 PointsThats a great idea. Theme it. My website is just project files that Treehouse gave me when they were teaching me to build websites. If I was to make one with a theme, I would definitely do a Star Trek theme. I am a huge Trekkie :)

Treehouse TeacherThat's a great idea! Definitely, choose something you know well. It will help you to make decisions on colors, interactions, etc. If you know the topic and audience well those decisions will be easy to make.

6,282 PointsI have a cool idea but when I start and proceed I almost get like an anxiety or excitement at the same time. Ever feel this?

Treehouse TeacherOf course! There are so many cool sites out there anymore and I want my site to be cool and interesting that sometimes the task seems daunting. I have a hard to completing something, I always think it can be better so it's always in this limbo of constant development, but eventually you have to let it go and publish it and let your audience tell you what they like and don't like. It's exciting to figure out a tricky part of the code and to accomplish creating a website, but I have anxiety too. It's normal :)

6,282 PointsHello Zachary, thank you for your response. I don't mean hosting but rather the theme. I was thinking something silly like a website about Area 51 or anything where I can get good practice but it has to be interesting. If you were to build your first website for practice or what not, what would it be?
